I'm sorry you're grieving, jylisnotlaughing. It seems that many here are, at this moment. Maybe things will look better in a while, even though the things you're grieving about may still be there.
Zenhussy's right-- even if it's only about something seemingly small, we can help one another feel so much better, and so much more hopeful.
I bought a Christmas tree, or Hannukah Bush, this evening. I 've never done that before, even though I've thought about it.
It's a really beautiful bushy tree, very flourishing and handsome and there's a whiff of the woods in my living room, every now and then. I'm just having fun tonight, looking at it every so often, and being caught off-guard that it's here.
I'm also trying to imagine just how to decorate it. Kind of mystifying but really enjoyable.
Thanks to the people on chat this evening, I have an amazing fir tree in the corner near the window, looking for all the world as if it had been there forever.
It's kind of a small thing-- but it was a really great adventure to find one that was exactly what I wanted, to carry it home, and install it where it now sits.
Thanks so much, everyone! Zen, Jammer, Maddie, Ll, To P, and so many other people. Even if it's only a small thing, I;ve gotten so much pleasure from this.
