I wish I could be Emma Thompson. I think she's transcended gender. She's so lovely and real. (I still think sitting through Howards End and Remains of the Day in one evening is too much to ask of anyone though)

I'm just now realizing I'd rather be a woman. Too late really for a sex change. If I did make the switch I would be a rabid lesbian. I mean, some, full-pillow lesbianism might break out. I mean a real pillow fight. A nice pillow fight. Nothing like the male full-metal jacket version.

I like Steve Martin's character, the "Jerk's", response to the gender issue. When asked about his girlfriend's sexual intrigue with another man, he merely wanted, "to be in there somewhere" - anywhere! How beautiful, agender and transgender can you get?

I think Steve Martin gets that.

I know this can seem icky (well, not really) but in the spirit of Steve Martin's character in "The Jerk", can we work ourselves into the mix somewhere?
