Having a pity party

Short note.
I had an emergency (depends on how you "look" at it) procedure on my eye today. It's alll patched up, and I'm supposed to keep both eyes closed as much as possible (shh, don't tell!) until I see the doc again tomorrow. What a drag. Not sure how I'm going to manage voting. Have a ton to do before I leave on a three week trip. (CS, I'll call if I can't email again soon). Feeling sorry for myself and disabled, though a phone call from my favorite redhead was cheering.
If it were Halloween, all I'd need is a horn, a purple suit, and a cape. Oh, and an appetite, I suppose.
