You know...I really hate doing this, as it seems so forced and such. First off, Phillipa, thank you very kindly for your post up above about my "dating habits". Some posters on here (with every right) go on about many things, and that is OK! For the past 6-7 years, I've tried so hard to support where I could. But, one of my biggest handicaps is dating, and in fact is one of the things that sent me spiralling into depression. I had a "one night stand" with a women who I thought there could be some kind of relationship. But this is just as much a traumatic issue as what anybody else posts on here. Yet...I can see the eyes rolling.."Oh...there goes Jay, again.."
There is also some interesting research out there about a possible co-relation between serotonin and true feelings of "love". (And no...I am not pushing SSRI's here..that is a totally different topic.) What I will say, is with SSRI's, the sex comes (pardon the pun..lol.) a little harder (more pun..da!), but I've noticed a real need for TLC from my gal (well..no I don't HAVE one..lol.) This also seems most true with medium doses of Zyprexa and high dose of Prozac, a pinch of Zoloft and 100mg Nortriptyline. On top, it is also interesting that during the day, I often take pseudophed (sp?) which is a stimulant, and it mucks around with some brain chemicals, and can make for really good days.
So...join in...lets here your good and bad date stories/habits/etc. I'm all ears (and eyes!:)
