Not a dermatologist, but it's true- sun exposure is good for acne.
Sun exposure causes your skin to plump and get a little thicker. For whatever reason, this causes zits to go away, especially when you get a burn.
The bad news- a zit will heal by itself in a few days, and the scar will fade in weeks. BUT the sun damage from the burn may induce tiny changes in your DNA or cellular structure that may lead to wrinkles, spots and skin cancers.
In the meanwhile, try using some kind of product with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Go to the drugstore and find something that seems like you can live with it. If you don't wash your face before bed, that's a good place to start.
sun. yuck!
