Thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers.
He is doing a little better today. He opens both eyes wide, and even looked at his sister when she told him to. They think it is taking him a long time to get the old meds out of his system. He needs a minor procedure tonight (hopefully) that will make him much more comfortable - they have to give him some anesthesia, hopefully it won't last much longer than the procedure.
I was so glad to see him awake today.
