It's much closer than Costco. I almost never go in the direction of where the Costco is---too much traffic. I'm not nuts about WalMart, but I save too much at Sams to not go there. And I doubt I'd shop at Costco as much given its location. Of course if one sprouts up closer to the city versus the mall-burbs, I might consider switching.
Fortunately, we've got a goodsized basement, and my husband put up a bunch of shelves and organized the whole thing this year. So we've got plenty of room for toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, kleenex, soda, detergent, etc. I would get meat and produce there more often, but I usually go when I'm out running other errands, too, and I can't always keep them cold long enough.
