Losing sleep is a great way to mess up our lives! I've been "adjusting" (another way of saying suffering) to life without Ambien and it's made me into a trainwreck. Physical coordination is a laff. Thank goodness the only heavy machinery I have to use is my own body, lol. I keep whacking my knees and toes into immovable objects, like walls and doorjambs. If you can, let your body dictate your needs for now. This too will pass; sleep will resume, whether through circumstance (I hope this for you!) or necessity.
Keep yourself safe, find a good book to read while you don't sleep, or do like I do and get a colouring book to fill in. It's mindless and relaxing...
