Thanks 'youse guys' for the support.
Last nite I dropped some things off at my son's (22) & his girlfriend answered the door. When I stepped in she said it wasn't the best time! There was broken glass; a chair overturned....
I gave her a big hug & likewise my son when he came downstairs. They asked if I'd drive them to the store for smokes. Took them out & they got a couple of movies also.
Am doing pretty well about how unsettling that is, but it's another thing to add to my ennui - I don't know what that word means actually & I don't think it's the right one, but I love words & felt like using it ;-)
At least I can smile amidst my gloom.
