He didn't want to start a "buit you did it for xxx" kind of thing.
We all read Admin right? We know how it goes there.. If he bent his policy for one post / person, then next time someone wanted a post deleted because they regretted it, and Dr Bob said no, he would get a whole list of "but you did it for xxx". how could he then stick to his policy?
I'm sorry to agree with Dr Bob here, but if you have a policy, you *have* to stick to it. Especially on internet forums.
I'm sorry you feel that this is a personal thing jyl, but I truly believe it isn't. I remember the same happening to others.
