I agree that masturbation is a personal subject, and what I shared above isn't something I usually share with random strangers..
I do think that alot of information shared on this site is of a personal nature, like our medical records etc.
For those that are bipolar, not all, but I'll speak for myself saying that an increased sex drive when hypomanic is a 'symptom' I've had to deal with. If i'm in a relationship that isn't so bad, and if i'm not it really isn't either because of other stimulation through masturbation.
I really have little control if and when my sex drive is on the high side, just like if i'm depressed and its not working.
I don't know, I guess if I wouldn't have included my sex drive to the psychiatirst that would have been a point against not having bipolar disorder, but its just who I am.
If I was in a relationship though, I guess I wouldn't be doing so much.
