In reply to ghosts?, posted by jennet on March 10, 2006, at 20:33:34

When I was about the same age as you, I was convinced I was having ghost experiences, I had recently been to a sleepover where we had read some scary stories and watched scary movies. Anyway I was convinced I heard things, saw things... (Today I have no idea as to whether they were ghosts or me thinking that but I assume it was my imagination) and then just a few months ago I posted abut this .....

I must have an overactive imagination. anyway have you seen a scary movie recently? Are you really stressed out?
Even when we are not stressed, for me anyway, our imaginations can get a little carried away. Im not saying you arent hearing noises, but they may be the wind that your brain processes as whispering, you know? This is assuming there aren't ghosts in your house. if I hear any noise thats out of the ordinary it can freak me out.
definately talk to someone about this though, my expeirence is that parents who don't listen aren't the best ones... have you got another adult around who you can talk to about htis? If not tell your parents again and explain how concerned you are, and if that fails go talk to your family doctor.
try to get some sleep, which btw will increase your worry and make you more sensitive to interpretting things as strange... lack of sleep can have a crazy impact on how you think, it will make the situation much worse.
Even if your parents don't believe you, it doesn't mean you are going insane... ok?
