Un-freaking-believable! Not only was it way out of line for the mother to reprimand your child instead of coming to you, but to tell her she's so mad she could hit her?! That's outragous! You have every right to be upset.

Its alot harder to forgive someone who has hurt someone you love, as opposed to hurting you. Of course it will only hurt you and not them to hang on to the bad feelings. You just have to try to let them go for YOU.

As long as your daughter knows you don't find their behavior acceptable, and she should always let you know if any adult mistreats her or threatens her, then she'll know her mom is looking out for her. And that's really what matters anyway.
