Actually, in the last 10 years or so the whole movie theater thing on Christmas has caught on. It's the same with going to a restaurant on Christmas. I remember all growing up we would always go to a movie on Christmas and the place would be empty. The only people you would see there were Jews. Not anymore!This is actually going to be the first year we aren't going to a movie. I can remember one Christmas when I was around 6 we went to see "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute". It was a really stormy night and the theater was completely empty. It freaked me out! Through the whole movie my mind had convinced me that there was no one there because some kind of animal was under the seats eating people. hahaha! I was so scared about being eaten that I couldn't watch the movie. Good thing I've gotten over that! :-P
