I experience this all too frequently lately. I would take such care to ensure my 'face was on' by the time hubby got home. Now he gets home and I haven't even had a shower yet.
Your comment of appearance matching feelings sums it up for me.
I understand this Dinah - I truly do. I clean my house all day long but forget(or not bother) about me!
