thanks Ed for the info.

My GP wants to see how I do on acidopholus and the various saliva substitutes before trying any more scripted meds.

There were no known interactions with clotrimazole either, and yet it was inhibited by provigil.

by the way, I've come across a study which says that tricyclics are CYP 3A inhibitors:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=16246530&query_hl=142

I was very surprised to read this. Maybe this is why people have reported success combining buspirone with nefazodone but not fluoxetine, because buspirone gets metabolized to an anxiogenic metabolite quickly without 3A inhibition. I suppose this doesn't belong on the Social board, but it certainly does count as an example of my social life.

:-)
