Is everyone on an anti-depressant?

In the small Louisiana town in which I live, almost everyone is taking some kind of medicine.
prozac, effexor, etc.
Is this the only place where almost everyone is on some type of anti-depressant?
Is it the cajun food that is making us depressed? ha ha. lol
