Also, Tom never thought to extraploate on the "past of psychiatry". He probably has read Breggin and taken it whole without questioning anything. And Breggin shows absolutely 100% bias in his "writings" There is not one part or phrase where he sees the utility of psych drugs.

And Ritalin....OK, I'm not a big fan of that, but I doubt Tom knows how that biochemically effects the brain in different regions. He is saying it is bad because it is (supposed to be) bad....circular reasoning, Tom!

Such an "error" is totally GLIB, to use TOM'S words.

Absolutely. I agree 100%. He is exploiting his fame to peddle absolute and utter nonsense. Tom just needs something to believe in and feel passionate about, like us all. But, his "passion" has it's bedrock in mendacity for a large part. I state with utter confidence Tom would no little, if anything, about neuroanatomy/neurophysiology. It's funny, his ex-wifes father was a psychologist who, at times, espoused the use of psychiatric medications.

To do this, she says, it is my “duty to clear the planet.” By “clearing” she means to rid the world of “body thetans” — aliens who Scientologists believe inhabit the earth from a nuclear explosion 75 million years ago.

Utter nonsense and fanatacism which is at the root of many wars and fascist dictates. People should do what makes them happy, without stepping on anyone's toes, OR allowing anyone to step on theirs.
