My car - a 2004 saturn ion, which is otherwise fantastic - does not fit on ANY uhaul tow-a-car thingy. I don't know how that is possible, but it seems that it is. ANd actually, it is not any more expensive to hire a self-service mover than it is to rent a uhual, at least for a across multiple states move!
