I've ridden the Earth around the Sun a few more times than you have. That adds up.
I've had a lot of therapy. I've read a lot of books. I've done a lot of thinking. I've done a lot of thinking about thinking.
Cognition has a profound effect on how you feel. And you can have a profound effect on cognition.
Wisdom isn't wisdom unless it's passed along. I don't own it, and what I have I've borrowed.
Recovery. Coping. Management. Whatever you want to call what you do to smoothe the rough edges of existence, you find it where you find it. One hope is to find it in a concentrated form, in a therapist's office. But it's all around you.> P.S. Your raccoon and cat joke did somewhat made me think about what my joking around does...perhaps it was a little unexpected, but it was funny all the same! I just can't believe you could link that to what I said later about being annoying...even I couldn't do that.
Yet.
It's a very small word, but a very powerful one.
