I don't remember them, but I had a similar experience. In '71 I believe. I went to see Grand Funk and they had a little known backup band called 'Yes' Wonderful!
And speaking of vintage, there was a song around the same time and I draw a blank as to who did it. The song was DOA and there were sounds of an ambulance in it. DOA is a heck of a thing to google on, too. Any ideas?
