I think it is normal even for happy people to feel depressed sometimes...I think sometimes it is a good thing, to be able to feel depressed. It lets you enjoy the moments of joy that much more, to know what depression is.

I wouldn't want to be happy all the time, I think it would get boring. :-) As long as the sadness is not debilitating, I think it might even be healthy to be depressed sometimes. It might be your body's way of telling you to take things more slowly...take some time to take care of yourself.
