> welcome to the board and congrats on beating depression!thanks so much for the nice welcome from everyone, i feel at home already!! i should clarify that i have managed to beat my major depression, but still have on-going minor depression, [dysthmia] and moderate ocd. the excercise has helped a great deal, that is the only reason i mentioned it, and it is a hobby of mine. i take prozac, 20 mgs. for my ocd, and i am now trying nadh, a co-enzyme of niacin, which helps a great deal with energy, and raises dopamine somewhat!! i also take a multi-vitamin each day,and plenty of fish oil, 3 grams daily!!
i feel that ocd and depression will be part of my life for good, to some extent, but i try one day at a time, as i am sure eveyone here does, to try to do something in a positive direction. also prozac has helped me immensly, as well as therapy!! thanks tampa girl, and everyone else who welcomed me, i am so glad to be part of the group. i reallyneed the encouragement and support...john berk
