Hello woolav
It must be difficult to find out you may have a bipolar disorder. I recently found out I had a borderline personality. We have to remember that the disorder does not define who we are. Everyone is a unique person. You are a special unique person in this world with strengths and weaknessness no one else has.
It feels sad sometimes to turn another year older...but turning older doesn't change who you are. It is simply a day, just like any other day really. You can choose to celebrate it as a day where you are the special person (cause everyone deserves to be celebrated once in a while...it could be on our b-days or any other day)...or if it makes you upset, you can choose to celebrate yourself on another day...one not so focused on age. Age is not the issue anyways...b-days are supposed to make you feel good about yourself.
I wish you a happy day...for as many days as you want to be happy. (might be a little boring if one where always happy :-P )
It's ok to feel a bad, you are still a good person. Celebrate your b-day whenever you want to. :-)
