here is one more idea that worked for me and my husband:
Well, I do all the cooking (I love it, he hates it, it just works out that way.) But when we're both trying to eat healthy, we actually do menu planning. We sit down for 10 minutes and discuss what we want to eat the upcoming week. for example, we'll decide to have turkey chili on Monday + leftovers on Tuesday; chicken breast & asparagus on Wed; etc. If one of us craves a certain dish we can plan it in.
Now we're not always this organized! But maybe the planning portion could work for you & hubby. If you sit down together and talk about what hurts your stomach and what is OK, it might be easier for you both to make food choices for the week.
good luck!
