I agree: see a doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. And take something for the pain in the meantime, if you can.
If it is a yeast infection, it will probably get worse without proper treatement. And once the yeast is in there it multiplies very fast. A serious yeast infection is VERY hard to get rid of. So don't delay!
If it's a urinary infection you will probably need antibiotics to get rid of it. If you have both a bacterial and a yeast infection, then you will probably need antibiotics AND something like diflucan.
Seeing the gyn is rarely a barrel of laughs, but better than the alternative.
