So true, mystery meat is not a cut that I've ever seen on those butcher's diagrams. T-bone steak, blade roast.....no mystery meat.

Still, hotdogs hereabouts list their ingredients in declining percentage content, and (mystery) meat is always first.

I was simply trying to put the conversation onto a factual basis. There are all-meat hotdogs (no fillers), cheaper "regular" ones with varying amounts of fillers, but always meat is first on the list. Then, you have the veggie ones, which as I say, would not exist as a separate item, if the meat ones really had as much filler as you seem to be implying.
