Oh Atticus, we could really egg each other on couldn't we? Did ya ever play 'chicken'? People have been known to get properly run over playing chicken ya know. 'Look - No hands!' have been known to be famous last words... Still, I suppose it is a relatively harmless way of playing with fire...>despite Dr. Bob's attempts to save me from my impulsive self with his digital safety net. I just hope he keeps these kinds of devices optional, with an off switch.
You know, I don't think it was an attempt to save anyone from their 'impulsive self'. More their 'forgetful and inadvertantly offensive self'. With the auto checker on (and properly working) then you don't have to worry about it. With the auto checker off then you do. If you would prefer to worry about it then that is an option. So I don't see how it is limiting. I suppose I think of it as 'helpful'.
