I prefer my life where I only have to deal with my family (who don't live with me), although I think they are about ready to give up on getting me out because they know I won't listen to them.

I have been doing some temp work that gets me out a little bit but I'm not up to that lately. I can totally relate to Angela2 when she said it's herself, her cats and her computer. That sounds just like me.

She is very holistically oriented and she thinks all I need to get healthy is some acupuncture and reiki healing. It's so damn frustrating dealing with that level of ignorance - and she doesn't let up on it.

My family lives far away so I would be much too reclusive if I didn't have her friendship. My other friends are all in couples so they're not all that available. I also understand how nice it feels to be in one's own safe environment. I may have to get a roommate down the road and I'm not looking forward to it.
