What about helping to tutor English as a second language? English learners won't be as concerned with affect or effect or punctuation, and as a speaker of English you are qualified. Most places that facilitate such things will provide training and materials. Or you can put a tutor ad in just as a 'conversation partner' for english language learners - some people who are new to the country don't really have anyone to talk to to improve their language skills because they haven't made many friends yet outside their own cultural group/family. To do conversational tutoring you really just have to talk to the person, and you can set your own hours, even work from home. Try advertising at your nearest University, where there are lots of out-of-country students.
Another option is tutoring elementary or junior high school kids. You don't need much training or anything like that.
