hi V! :) (i love to call you V. it reminds me of the old series on TV about aliens taking over our planet..:-))
> I don't seem to notice my introversion online even when there's friction with people.maybe that's because you can pick and choose when you want to interact online, and can go online when you're in a 'people mode' moment.
<But in my day-to-day life I try to keep my encounters down to a minimum. For every hour with people, I need two hours to decompress, digest, and rehash.
man, i've been there, and am so glad i don't require much decompression time anymore..it's not easy to get, i know..
> When I run out of recent events, I start ruminating about the past. I relive all my worst moments, not the good ones.
time to find something you enjoy to take your mind off things..
> I didn't leave the house for almost a year at one point but now I'm getting out more. I have two friends and a daughter in town - and that's about it for human contact.
well, that's okay, if it's your preference..if you're not getting out due to anxiety, though, perhaps medication should be considered..

Hope to work part-time someday.oh, well, you just kind of addressed my comment above..i plan to take klonopin personally for social anxiety..(done a ton of research on it if you have any questions for me)
> The enneagram test is as good as Meyer-Briggs IMO and really nails the nuances of each personality type from healthy to unhealthy states.
yeah, i've heard of this test and took it once..it is another high quality personality assessment..(i shy away from taking a lot of tests, though, as all the potential answers to choose from get in my head and i lose track of my identity due to my extreme INFJ introjection, if that makes any sense..i have to be very careful whose head i get into when i answer questions on PB, too, as i start to think like them..i'm empathetic with a capital "E". :-)) some questions on here i avoid like the plague for that reason.
amy :-)
