hi, zeugy,
i have investigated your dry mouth problem. here is a quote:
"While there is no cure for dry mouth, you can get relief by drinking water, using saliva substitutes, using a humidifier or nasal spray, and by avoiding caffeine, alcohol and tobacco products."
the saliva substitute idea sounds interesting..i have no idea what that is, but maybe you could look into that? also, drinking water, but i'm sure you've tried that already, right? did you drink enough, though? i know some vocalists drink 16 glasses of water a day to keep their vocal cords hydrated (from the inside out-not just while the water is going down their throat)..it sounds like a lot, but you'd adjust to it..if they can do it, you can, too! i would definitely try this route for sure! (and your voice might take on a very nice tone in the process..:)) this could be key!
i'm not sure if the candies are going to help you much..but, maybe they do for you..but keep in mind that aspartame causes depression! so maybe if you want to do the candy route use a non-aspartame-containing candy. like splenda, maybe?
the site i looked at also said dry mouth frequently results from taking certain meds...so if you could change your med regimen maybe that would help, depending on what meds you're taking..i'd be happy to brainstorm with you on some good alternative meds for you to take if you like/need!! i'll post the web site for you later.
hope maybe i've been of some help, dude...
take care!
amy ;)
