For anyone who has ever had mental health issues, it is a wonderful, cathartic album that makes you feel SO much less alone in this world. Yes....anger and sadness all bottled up. The haunting synths...the crunching guitars....the passionate vocals. This line(s) above is/are perfect

> Hi CG...*yes*..this disc goes places many others don't. You are *so* right...it does "sound how I feel". It is so 'dynamic'....it has so many layers to it. It pulls up and stirs so many feelings in me. I am very happy (for lack of a better term..heh..) that this disc touches someone else in the same way....as I imagined it did, but it's nice to see it "for real". "Numb" is the first track that I heard that just knocked me on my butt..this was when it came out about a year ago or so. I had burn't a copy of the cd from the internet, but lost it soon...and for some reason, it has stuck in the back of my mind for such a long time. I wanted to have the actual cd instead of some cheap download...and I saw the video for "Breaking the Habit" in my hotel room, and said "AHHHH..gotta get it..NOW!!"

I have to tell you that you are the only other person I know that relates/connects to the cd the way I do. I know other people that like it, but they don't *get* it.
Let's see...other favorites. Well, I really like Faint, Nobody's Listening, Lying From You. I *love* the entire cd, really. I never get tired of it.
Do you have Hybrid Theory, their first cd? It's great also. I think that their music is so different and fresh--rap but still alternative, angry but with intelligence, melodic but still hard.I listen mostly to alternative also, we have two local radio stations in town that both play alternative. The thing I hate the most is that they rarely tell you the names of the bands they are playing!
My musical tastes have matured so much. In high school, it was all hair bands and metal. Now I can get into rap and some lighter stuff as well. Let's see if I can remember what's in my car cd player right now...Linkin Park (of course), Jay Z, Los Lonely Boys, Foo Fighers (another great band), John Mayer, and Ashlee Simpson. It runs the gamut! Do you still respect me? ;)
So what else are you listening to? Do you like KoRn? I have been tempted to buy their latest cd but I wasn't sure if I would like the whole thing.
Ok, I have rambled long enough.
