Well, Dee's slightly alarming news. I guess I said that, so perhaps I should explain.
When I was in the hospital, I was given a brief physical exam. The man who gave it said that there was a heart murmur. He said it might be mitral valve prolapse. This isn't a major problem, unless it turns into mitral valve regurgitation.
Fast Forward.
Early this week, I had my regular doctors appointment. I go there about four times per year. I told my Nurse Practicioner about the murmur. She takes a listen, and said that it sounded higher than the mitral valve, and that it sounded like the aortic valve. I told her that my mother just had her aortic valve replaced late last year. She said " I want to schedule an Echocardiogram ". The alarming part is, I guess a little obvious. I'm not too worried yet
