oops, i was snoozing
anyway, I got my tights in Canada at a plus-size store called Addition-Elle (nice name!)
The ones I used were actually not the woolen ones I remembered as a kid - but just thicker pantyhose (opaque).
Take fallsfall's advice - those figure skaters know what they're doing!
