Therapist fashion disasters

Posted by Miss Honeychurch on December 23, 2003, at 12:14:44

So I'm starting this thread in response to something Karen Kay mentioned about male therapists not being snappy dressers. I would love to read about any of your therapist fashion disasters, both male and female. My therapist commits the following crimes:

1. Wears short sleeve dress shirts with ties. Many times the shirts are so thin you can see his undershirt. And the undershirt is not a normal, short sleeve undershirt, but a sleeveless one! Ugh! (I don't agree that ties should be worn with short sleeves)
2. Likes to pair brown slacks with bright yellow shirts
3. wears "Top Siders." I have NEVER seen him wear a decent pair of shoes.
4. Wears short socks so when he crosses his legs you can see his leg hair (of which there is a lot)
5. When wearing a sweater, he TUCKS IT IN his pants!!

There are more, I'm just getting started. Anyone else?

Good think I love him so much and he is brilliant...
