> Tabitha, I must be the densest person alive. I've always thought Social was fairly innocuous. I tend to find more hurly burly on the Meds board. People do get excited about their medications.

To me that creates more opportunity to see personalities-- which I enjoy, but it can also feel less safe, and you can end up dealing with the more difficult parts of those personalities. That's what I mean by messy.

> The only thing I mind about Social is the turnover. I miss so many people, and the silliness we used to have with word games and fruit fun. I tend to be so earnest myself that I think of those as the good old days.Oh me too. Gabbi reminded me of some silly threads about bunnies and sheep-- I went back and read them and it seemed so light-hearted and fun. But on the same page somebody was complaining that the board had gone bad, and all the good people were gone. Totally different viewpoint.
>But I also enjoy each new group of Babblers and enjoy getting to know people. I find it endlessly fascinating.Good for you. I get kind of mad when I think Bob has run people off, and I have to start over with new innocent folks, and I feel all cynical about the past losses.

> I guess I don't think of it as messy. I think of it more as what's not to like?Messy can be good. Fingerpainting, mudpies, etc. I'm not maligning social-- just thinking of what's unique about it that makes some people like it, others dislike it.
