>>Hey, *I'm* jealous! I've been soooo busy the past 3 or 4 weekends, I haven't been able to sneak a nap. I feel myself getting sleepy around 2 each day on the weekends (oddly not during the week) and nothing would be nicer than sleeping a bit in the sunshine streaming in the window (I like light when I'm napping, I dunno why).
With my mother getting on my case about napping, she's one of those people who sacrifices her entire being for everyone else, so she has no life or identify of her own. And napping would be *selfish* in her eyes. Anything you do for yourself is *selfish* to her. And not in a good way. It's amazing how something like a *nap* for god's sakes can stir up so much controversy, and you're not alone. My mom constantly bitches at my dad for napping (guess I inherited it from him). It's just weird....
You like to nap? I say do it! Nurture yourself. Give yourself a treat.
And I still don't think I'll get to snooze this weekend, either. :-( Oh, well.
