I totally agree about the talking thing!!! It can be so frustrating. I have been in movies where ushers escorted people out who wouldn't be quiet, and it just makes my day.
Someone said to me once that it wasn't until after VCRs became so commonplace that people started really talking in movie theaters - because they were used to being able to talk during movies at home with no one being bothered. I don't know how true that is, as I don't remember much about movies pre-VCRs, but it does seem to have some merit.
