It's okay. Why are you not doing so well? I mean, not that there really has to be a "why". I know we all hate the "why are you depressed?" questions, so I don't mean to do that. Just trying to understand you a bit more because I don't feel like we've conversed much, you and me. I do really like it when I start a thread that many people respond to. Even if it's not specifically about ME, but ends up morphing and turning into a general discussion about whatever.

> I think Gabbi said a very wise thing----"this invisible clique that no one belongs to"...

Yes, it is wise. I think that people who are new here can feel like everyone knows each other and it's all so cliquey, but really I think it's more a matter of time and if you are here enough and post enough, whether it's responses to others, or starting your own threads, eventually the person will feel more comfortable and less of an outsider. It's like in life. I think that all of us experience times when many people respond, and times when not so many people respond. So hopefully the general feeling will come to be that at least sometimes you are interesting and funny and people care about you and what you say. And if they care sometimes, they probably care all of the time, but just don't always respond. (And I don't mean specifically YOU when I say "you", I just mean me, you, and everyone here!)

Right out of high school or even earlier. It's probably Freudian-ish, as much as one can take from Freud. It's just the demons that we all have in our heads and our personal soft spots, transference, and all the rest. Hmmm... that's interesting about the camaraderie. I've never really thought of it that way, but you are right. I think that we all mean something to each other, and at least at this point in our lives, the board is important to us. I have dreams sometimes involving the board, and that tells me something. And I think about it and the people here a lot. AND... here goes my fate thing.... we were all "brought together" at this time in each of our lives. And we share this time together, be it through cyberspace, but that doesn't matter. Okay... that's enough about that... don't want to get carried away. I don't know how much I believe in fate, or in self-determination, and other such things, but I like to think about them now and then.

I hope you feel better soon!
