I suppose so - I just tried what the sleep doc told me - to set an alarm to take a 20 minute nap - so I did and I guess it helped a little, though I could so easily go back to sleep now...

I am pretty sure my depression is summer-related, as I feel much calmer in the dark. I know I didn't used to be that way, but now I can barely stand to be outside when it's bright. The sun is shining here and my blinds are closed and my lights off in my office. I do have a little lamp I keep on my desk that I turn on occasionally, as it's not too much light but softer than the fluorescent lights overhead which I hate!
