LOL. Ok, you're right, I wouldn't.
But my husband used to complain (with some merit) that he took a back seat to my little darlin' dog.
Worst date I ever went on was a guy who upon discovering that I was a dog lover, proceeded to tell me a joke he was sure I'd love - the punchline involving the death of the dog. I'm afraid it coloured my entire impression of him and there was never a second date. Of course, I only dated a total of about five guys in my life, so I don't have a lot to compare to.
