> Does anyone else talk to themselves aloud?

I have since childhood, usually when I'm at home, though I've found that I'm not the only one at work or at school who does it -- a lot of people with a lot on their minds have to say things out loud or it gets lost in with all the other stuff. And sometimes it enhances my understanding of what I'm thinking if I hear it out loud.

My mind wanders a lot, so I use talking to myself to focus.

However, I've also found lately that I've started talking out loud in public, like if I'm trying to decide which bus to take, I sometimes say part of my debate out loud and don't realize that it's a little bit crazy until afterwards (I don't mean I yell, it's really a whisper or under my breath, in fact, I don't know if anyone ever hears me because it's not loud at all, just helps if I "hear" only what I need to focus on at that given moment).

But, I don't care if I seem like I'm crazy to strangers, and I can always explain my behavior to my friends (and they usually don't need it) :)

I'm actually looking forward to the time when I'm one of those cuckie old ladies who walks around mumbling to herself and making unsolicited comments to others, though I have about 30 years to go on that one.
