Dear Jay:
Your post more fully describes people who are misdiagnosed which is a real problem. However, in reviewing stats on BPD, they're pretty alarming. I have two practicing BPD's in my family and can attest to the difficulty of this disorder, especially if the one afflicted refuses treatment.
