If your baby has renal failure you have FAR more important things on your mind. Our beautiful baby also had renal failure so I know what you are going through.
It's good to hear your baby is still purring. PLEASE PLEASE forgive me as I don't want to scare or offend you as I don't know how advanced the renal failure is but here is a link that may help you if it ever gets to an advanced stage. http://www.pet-loss.net/preloss.html.
