Hey Dinah, it sounds like you do have a goal, after all! No matter if it's hard or a financial strain, if you think you'll love it, go ahead and study theology- you'll learn a huge amount, will be able to think, read and debate to your heart's content, and will also become very skilled at counselling- so many doors will open. Go for it!
