Ahh! That sounds like great advice! The ceiling was spinning, though, and I was having some trouble sitting. (Also afraid I'd fall asleep in the tub, which I've been known to do.)
What about medicine on top of a six-pack and two mixed drinks? I'd have taken a sleeping pill (Sonata) but was afraid I'd never have awakened!
The party was, truly, fun, and I slept well again.
