Heeeyyyy! We know what football is! Was married to a Brit after all (such a mistake!)... And I am a fan, but I didn't think you'd mind my jumping in here...
I love football, played it in high school, was captain of my team! Yes, moi! And also played three times a week in grad school, was on three different leagues, just so I could get out of my head, too much reading, not enough physical stuff when you're a grad student.
But have you seen the schedules? The game times here are 5:30 am (EST), or 2:30, or 7, I think. Something like that, so don't quote me. All in the wee morning hours, anyway, which sucks.
Yeah, Nikki, France lost! Cool! The Brits hate France so much, it's in the blood, don't you think? I personally hate the German team, but that's just IMHO (hope I don't get a PBC!)
