just because you say something/have an opinion doesn't mean that you are the only person who feels the same way that you do. if no one voices a similar opinion it only means that someone else didn't voice a similar opinion.
the problem happens when we've said something potentially risky and then we feel like we're all alone.
it can be hard for anybody to speak from their gut, at the time feeling very self-confident and full of positive self-regard... and then to feel alone and vulnerable.... it's hard to maintain the self-confidence at that point.
i think everybody feels, has felt, is feeling in some way in some situation as you feel. and it stinks. i feel like i just talked all this psychological lingo stuff which is intellectually meaningful, but sometimes you just have to say that it hurts to feel all alone. it just does and it feels terrible. i hope you don't feel that way for very long.
