Dear Mitch,
My father has lived in New Orleans for about 8 years. He LOVES it. He is kinda wacky, owns a "flop-house" on Canal Street, and fits right in. NOLA is not for everyone. It doesn't seem like a very clean city, and it gets VERY wild and crazy.

I have put in an intracorporate transfer request to New Orleans and I was curious what other babblers (or Dr. Bob!) think about the New Orleans area-climate-people-economics-culture, etc. Hurricanes and floods are probably a negative, but the people/culture sound pretty cool.
